Freelance Musician

 

I keep myself busy (musically speaking!) by being involved in many different ventures.

 

I regularly play Clarinet (& Bass Clarinet), Saxophone (Sop/Alto/Tenor) and Flute in musical "pits" and have previously served my time in Pantomimes (Oh yes I have!!!)  I'm happy to help you in the studio - laying down tracks on these instruments.

 

Pianist

 As well as weddings, I can also provide background music on piano for any function, corporate meal, hotel bar/lounge.

 

CopperCeilidh

 I have been playing accordion for more years than I care to remember and have my own ceilidh band - ably joined by the amazing Dave Major on drums and Rachel Walker and Sandie Forbes on Fiddle.  Between us, we will get any group of people up ceilidh dancing.  

Our main gigs are weddings and private functions, but we also provide ceilidh for (very) large groups of foreign exchange students every Summer at residential Summer Schools.

 

Midnight Train

 I front a Soul / Motown based function band, providing vocals, saxophone and keyboard - and I can also shake a mean tambourine  Guaranteed to keep your dance-floor filled.

 

The Kuil

 This fantastic function band let me join them whenever they need keyboard, saxophone or a bit of ceilidh. 

 

Who 'Ya Gonna Call???

 I regularly get called up to dep in function bands to provide vocals, sax, keys, ceilidh.

I'm based in the East Lothian but available from Edinburgh to Glasgow and the Borders - anywhere across Central Scotland.
